Monkton EMS Capital Campaign

Help Us Reach Our $500,000 Goal to Keep Emergency Services Local, Equipped, and Ready

A Message from Monkton Volunteer EMS

Since 1953, Monkton Volunteer EMS has served the Hereford Zone with pride, compassion, and a commitment to excellence. As the only volunteer ambulance service in Baltimore County not affiliated with a fire station, we rely on your support to keep our operations strong.

In November 2024, we launched our most ambitious campaign yet—a $500,000 capital initiative to replace critical vehicles, update lifesaving equipment, and renovate key areas of our nearly 40-year-old station.

We’ve already raised over $60,000, thanks to generous supporters like you—but we have a long way to go. Your donation today helps ensure we’re ready to respond when your family, neighbors, or friends need help most.

So Far, We’ve Raised Over $60,000!

Raised: $60,000.00 12%

Every contribution moves us closer to the finish line. Thank you!

Why We Need Your Help

While we receive essential funding from Baltimore County to support basic operating expenses, these funds do not cover capital improvements. Here’s what your donation supports:

What We've Accomplished So Far (Thanks to You!)

In 2024 alone, your support allowed us to:

  • Purchase a second ambulance (2012 Freightliner/PL Custom)
  • Repaint our station interior
  • Replace our aging driveway and parking lot

These upgrades totaled nearly $100,000—all funded through donations from community members like you.

Why This Matters

  • In 2024, Monkton EMS responded to 970 emergency calls
  • Volunteer EMS services save taxpayers money
  • Without local volunteer units, response times rise—and lives are at risk

Whether you give $50 or $5,000, your support helps us stay equipped, staffed, and ready to serve.
