Training & Certifications

Equipped Like Pros—Because We Train Like Pros

At Monkton Volunteer EMS, being a volunteer doesn’t mean being underprepared. In fact, we’re trained to the same standards as full-time career EMS providers. Our members complete a wide range of certification courses—many of which are required to actively serve in most volunteer stations across Maryland.

Below is a list of key training opportunities available to our members, along with the time investment each requires. Courses marked with an asterisk (*) are typically required for active volunteer membership.
